The dreamer – that’s my Introversion, iNtuition, Feeling, Perception (INFP) profile, according to prominent psychiatrist Carl G. Jung and his Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment. I read it up on wikipedia and there’s quite a complicated explanation on how it all came about. No surprise i got lost in all the explanations but aside from that, it’s actually quite accurate. You can take the test at MyPersonality site.

The dreamer (aka INFP) – me, is one of the 16 personality types based on the assessment. Just to quote a few traits from the assessment site on this type of people…

Dreamer
Introspective, private, creative and highly idealistic individuals that have a constant desire to be on a meaningful path. They are driven by their values and seek peace. Empathetic and compassionate, they want to help others and humanity as a whole. INFPs are imaginative, artistic and often have a talent for language and writing. They can also be described as easygoing, selfless, guarded, adaptable, patient and loyal.
INFPs are highly intuitive about people. They rely heavily on their intuitions to guide them, and use their discoveries to constantly search for value in life. They are on a continuous mission to find the truth and meaning underlying things. Every encounter and every piece of knowledge gained gets sifted through the INFP’s value system, and is evaluated to see if it has any potential to help the INFP define or refine their own path in life.
Love is a very deep commitment, and one that is not easily attained. They have ideals, and therefore reality may be carefully scrutinized. With their ideal firmly envisioned, the first date with that special person is carefully planned and prepared for, and often every aesthetic thing is taken care of. The flowers are in place, the right wine is ordered, and the proper meal is prepared. INFPs may have difficulty sharing their feelings about others. They keep so many of those feelings inside that they may forget to tell their partner how much they love and appreciate them. They also need reminders of their partner’s love. When things go wrong in a relationship, the INFP takes it to heart but does not readily discuss it with others. They may not be willing to communicate to let others know how they are feeling. When scorned, they are very hurt and may overreact in an almost maudlin way.
INFPs present a calm, pleasant face to the world and are seen as reticent and even shy. Although they demonstrate a cool reserve toward others, inside they are anything but distant. They have a capacity for caring which is not always found in other types. They care deeply-indeed, passionately-about a few special persons or a cause. One word that captures this type is idealistic. At times, this characteristic leaves them feeling isolated, especially since INFPs are found in only 1 percent of the general population. INFPs have a profound sense of honor derived from internal values. The INFP is the Prince or Princess of mythology, the King’s Champion, Defender of the Faith, and guardian of the castle. Sir Galahad and Joan of Arc are male and female prototypes of an INFP. To understand INFPs their cause must be understood, for they are willing to make unusual sacrifices for someone or something believed in.

Me personality
I’m not saying that i’m “all of the above” but i does say a lot of who i am, except i don’t feel very musician-y at all. Haha. You guys should check it out and see whether it’s accurate to your personality of not. Apparently a lot of big companies like Bank of America uses this assessment on their employees, in order to put them in more suitable positions to work more efficiently. It also shows here that i’m in one of the smallest population group among the different types of personalities, only 2%…rare species ok, hard to find :P

RARE OK...RARE
On another note, ordered some nice veal sausages at club on Friday night. I had a sua teng kah moment when i sort of forgot what veal meat was but i ordered anyway and to be honest, it tasted like pork. :P Hahaha. I also think they should move the bbq stove further away from the main hall because the whole main hall was full of smoke and i’m sure everyone smelled like bbq meat after having dinner there.

I also have a new passion for korean food after having it for lunch with my colleagues. Most of the food is spicy and good thing still within my limits. So far i’ve been to Da-Om at Jalan Song. I simply love the korean style sardine fish to bits.

No class this weekend! Yay! But i have an assignment due in a week…no yay! It feels like i have tons of things i want and need to do like send in job applications, update my ipod music cause frankly im sick of the songs that are inside already, create a new blog header, play Big Fish games (*eh the games damn nice…can get *ahem* *cough* dvd from Kenyalang), i got so so many books and magazines i bought that have yet to be read, finish my stupid air traffic controller DS game…the list goes on. I feel like i have so little time :( Spent last night modifying my blog CSS file to get it to work with Firefox, IE and Chrome. I got so frustrated because when it was working fine on Firefox, IE wouldn’t display it properly and if it’s fine on IE, it wont be on Firefox and Chorme. CB rite? So, i went and put my head pillow high high (*my friend told me about this hokkien saying, supposedly can help you think better, wtf) and went to sleep and guess what…this morning i woke up with a glowing light bulb above my head and it’s all good now :)
Also, i have been Starbucks free for er…2 weeks already and and…i’m one stamp away from my free drink. Lol :P

One more to go
